General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Article 1: Scope of Services
Mak Chauffeur & Limousinen Service provides paid passenger transportation services. Through the website mak-chauffeur.com, we offer an online booking system for chauffeur-driven vehicles for private individuals and business customers.
Article 2: Booking
Every booking must be made by the customer or by a duly authorized representative. For each booking, the customer must provide the following information:
Customer details: First name, last name, telephone number, email address, and residential address.
Journey details: Date and time of pickup, pickup and drop-off locations, number of passengers, need for child seat(s), number of luggage items, and flight or train number if applicable.
Article 3: Cancellation and Modification
The customer may cancel the service up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time free of charge and receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
For cancellations less than 24 hours before pickup, a fixed cancellation fee of €15 (sedan category) or €25 (van category) will apply.
For cancellations less than 2 hours before pickup, the minimum fare of €35 (sedan) or €65 (van) will be charged as a fixed cancellation fee.
The provider may cancel the service in cases of force majeure, in which case the customer will be entitled to appropriate compensation. The provider may also cancel if the customer does not appear at the agreed location after a waiting period of 15 minutes, and the customer will be invoiced for the no-show.
Any modification of the route requested by the customer during the service that results in changes to the itinerary may incur additional charges payable on site or at the end of the service.
Article 4: Hourly Hire / Disposition
Any hourly hire service must be booked in writing. It must be requested by the customer or a duly authorized representative. The booking must specify the location of the service, the number of passengers, and the name and contact details of the beneficiary if different from the customer.
Cancellation of an hourly hire must be notified at least 48 hours before the start of the service. Failure to do so will result in a fixed cancellation fee equal to the full originally agreed amount.
The service is valid for one use only. If the customer is not present at the agreed meeting point, the service is forfeited with no right to refund. Waiting time beyond a one-hour grace period will be charged at the hourly rate for the booked vehicle category.
Article 5: Pricing
Prices provided by our booking system are indicative and may vary depending on the period or time requested. For confirmed pricing, customers must request a quote via our contact form.
The transfer price applies to direct travel without stops from pickup to drop-off, with the service ending immediately upon arrival. Luggage capacity is proportional to the vehicle’s size.
Quoted prices include the vehicle, chauffeur service, passenger insurance, fuel, kilometers and time agreed at booking, and luggage transport within vehicle limits. Tolls, parking fees, entrance fees, or any additional costs required for the journey not originally planned remain the customer’s responsibility.
Prices are per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers (e.g., 1–4 persons in sedan category).

Article 6: Payment
For occasional customers, services are payable at booking (online via Stripe) or on board by credit card or cash.
For account customers, invoices are payable immediately upon receipt by bank transfer.
Overdue invoices more than 5 days past due will automatically incur a €40 administration fee plus late payment interest at three times the legal rate.
In all cases, the customer who signs the booking is solely responsible for payment.
Article 7: Limitation of Liability
Mak Chauffeur & Limousinen Service undertakes to transport passengers to their destination as quickly and safely as possible in compliance with road traffic regulations and applicable laws.
We cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., road closures, traffic jams, police interventions) or force majeure (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, riots).
We are not liable for delays resulting from the customer’s initial delay or an unrealistically short journey time requested by the customer.
In case of vehicle breakdown, accident, or damage en route, we will endeavor to continue the journey with another vehicle and inform the customer promptly. Luggage and personal items remain the sole responsibility of the passenger.
The chauffeur may refuse instructions that compromise vehicle safety or integrity. The maximum number of passengers (including driver) must not exceed the vehicle’s specifications.
Damage to the vehicle caused by passengers will be charged to the customer unless proven to be caused by a third party. We reserve the right to terminate the service if passengers engage in illegal activities, endanger the driver, or behave abusively.
Transport of animals is prohibited except for guide dogs accompanying visually impaired persons.
If we are unable to provide the booked vehicle, any deposit will be refunded unless an alternative vehicle is agreed upon. We may refuse to perform the service in cases of force majeure or risk to passengers, driver, or vehicle, without liability for compensation.
We have no custody obligation for items left in the vehicle during or after the service.
Article 8: Insurance
Our liability is limited to the terms of our insurance policies. Vehicles are fully insured for passenger transport and third-party liability.
Customers may take out additional insurance at their own expense for cancellation, repatriation, or luggage coverage.
Article 9: Safety and Conduct Rules
Vehicles and chauffeurs carry all required documentation. Smoking and consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on board. Seat belts must be worn by all passengers where fitted.
Article 10: Personal Data
Mak Chauffeur & Limousinen Service is committed to protecting customer privacy. Personal data provided is used solely to improve our service and will never be shared with third parties. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
